False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These courses start at NCV level two plus the bare minimum requirement would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

Once the student finishes NCVLevel two, they'd then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, remaining equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two and that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
